Select by Performance

Glaz-Tech Industries allows you to search targeted values for either Visible Light Transmittance or Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.
Enter values below and GlazSpecs will display data that are within range of your targeted value.

Select by Performance

Glaz-Tech Industries allows you to select by three different categories; Visible Light Transmittance, Low U-Value and by a Low Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.
In choosing one of these categories, Glaz-Tech will sort the best available product and makeup of your insulated glass unit.

Visible Light Transmittance

The percentage of visible light transmitted through a window.

Solar Heat Gain Coefficient

A rating, which is now generally replacing shading coefficient, measuring a window's ability to transmit solar heat. It measures both the solar radiation which is directly transmitted, as well as the solar radiation absorbed by the glass and subsequently transmitted. The lower a unit's solar heat gain coefficient, the less solar heat it transmits, and the greater its shading ability.
